A seminar on "Key Guidelines for Competitive Tendering of Bidders" was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering at  Southern University Bangladesh (SUB) at the university`s seminar room on Sunday. The seminar was presided over by Engineer Md. Abul Hasan, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering. Engineer Umme Salma, Lecturer of the Department of Civil Engineering presented the keynote paper at the seminar.

Rail communication between Sylhet and the rest of the country has resumed after nine hours. The communication was snapped due to the derailment of an oil-laden train at Dakshin Surma area in Sylhet around 10:30pm yesterday (15 February). After a rescue operation, rail communication restarted after 8:30am today (16 February).
