The Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) supports the preservation of tangible and intangible heritage including historic buildings, archaeological sites, manuscripts, museum collections, and forms of traditional cultural expression such as indigenous languages and crafts.
Since its inception in 2001, AFCP has supported over 1,000 projects in more than 120 countries around the world. In Bangladesh, AFCP has provided over $800,000 in funding for 12 projects over the past 12 years. The grants range from $10,000 to $500,000 and can support projects that last from one to five years.
