Education Research and Development Forum of Bangladesh (ERDFB) has congratulated Sheikh Hasina for clinching a record-extending fourth term in power.
The apex platform of top notched academicians, in a statement on Monday, also expressed gratitude to Election Commission for showing zero-tolerance role to hold a free and fair election in peaceful manner.
ERDFB President Prof Sazzad Hossain said that the people in Bangladesh has shown their confidence over the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina who drives economic development through political stability.
“As a courageous statesman, Sheikh Hasina is set to lead the country for fourth consecutive term with people’s mandate. People exercised their voting power with bold action of Election Commission to flourish democracy in the country. Foreign observers also mentioned the election as credible one,” said Dr Hossain, a member of University Grants Commission (UGC).
Prof Sazzad, a patron of research and innovation, further mentioned that the majority of Awami League again proves people’s trust over ‘Smart Bangladesh’ vision to develop a science and technology-driven developed economy by 2041.
The UGC member also extends his thankful wish for the youths in Bangladesh who cast their first vote this year in response to the GoVote campaign of ERDFB before election.
