DPS STS School Dhaka’s Community Club has just launched its annual winter project, ‘Warm Winter,’ with the goal of providing relief and warmth to the less fortunate. Students disseminated the winter essentials among men, women and children in Uttara last Saturday.

Twenty-one dedicated members and the core team of the DPS Community Club actively distributed 1200 donations consisting of warm clothing articles, blankets, and miscellaneous items among men, women and children. These contributions brought solace to the less fortunate.

Regarding the student-led initiative, Dr Shivananda C S, said, “Every year, our students come forward with the Warm Winter project to ensure that the underprivileged can fight the battle for survival during winter.

The project helps those who require winter necessities like outerwear, earmuffs and scarves but cannot afford them. We are proud of our students for initiating this project with such empathy and dedication.”

For the past three years, the Warm Winter project has consistently served as a beacon of hope and compassion. It is dedicated to providing comfort, relief and warmth to those facing the harsh winter conditions in Bangladesh.

This year, the community club of DPS STS School Dhaka collaborated with Bangladesh International Tutorial (BIT), The Aga Khan School Dhaka, and the Esho Pashe Darai Foundation to broaden the project’s reach and make a more significant impact on the lives of those enduring the excruciating winter season.
