State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Mohammad Ali Arafat has left Dhaka for Turkey to attend the conference of Information Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
State Minister for Information and Broadcasting left Dhaka for Istanbul, Turkey by a flight of Turkish Airlines on Friday (23 February) morning.
During his visit, State Minister will attend the Extraordinary session of the Islamic Conference of Information Ministers of the OIC member states on February 24. The theme of this special session is `Israeli government's disinformation and hostility against journalists during the Israeli occupation of Palestine'. Mohammad Ali Arafat will also meet the Information Ministers of Qatar and Turkey on this day. In addition, State Minister for Information and Broadcasting is scheduled to visit the Turkish Radio and Television office on February 25.
State Minister for Information and Broadcasting will return to Dhaka on February 28 after his visit to Turkey.
