RAB mentions the main route of drug smuggling is Myanmar. RAB Director General M Khursheed Hossain said that this is now being done for political purposes. Myanmar has long wanted to fight with Bangladesh. Rohingyas are doing political incitement, starting from infiltration.

The Prime Minister was saved from it because of his strong attitude. Now going to war means the end of the country. Myanmar now has a military government. They are at war with the Arakan Army. So they want to make trouble with us and steal the profit.

He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the reception and awarding ceremony of Kriti students at MA Khalek Degree College ground of Kashiani Upazila of Gopalganj on Saturday (February 23) at noon.

The director general also said that drugs are now coming more by air, by sea and from Myanmar. It is being shipped as scheduled. We have put the net, we have put Myanmar's biggest gangsta in the net, we can do something. Drug control is a big challenge now. The Myanmar route will be closed at any cost. Drugs are the biggest business in Bangladesh. Get rich overnight business. Everyone knows this including the public representatives. Various forces include drug addicts and traders. No single force can eliminate drugs. In order to eliminate drugs, we all have to build a social movement.

The Director General also said to the students that if we want to save the new generation, we should not just give books. But this reality is no more. So children should be taught from childhood. You don't have to learn anything in college. Ethics should be learned from the family. Children must be raised from scratch. Basic ethics should be learned from the family, in this case the parents have the main role and then the teachers.

He also said that if drugs are passed on to the next generation, it is a plan to destroy a nation. Even though the Indian territory is controlled, Myanmar, Yara, ice and other drugs are still being smuggled. Social movement and all out action should be taken for drug control. Godfather, Kishore Gang No one will be spared.

RAB DG said to the teachers, you have to be a model. Because your place is after family. You have to give proper education. Even if your facilities are a little less now, it will be fixed in the future. Sending boys and girls to school and college and sitting at home will not do. Keep in mind whether the availability of drugs is killing the child.

Referring to the lack of experienced people in the country, RAB DG said that our term is being extended due to the lack of experienced people in the country. There is a severe lack of professionalism in every cadre now. Like there is a shortage in education, there is a shortage in professionalism, there is a shortage in discipline. If we are to overcome it, we must try now. So that the youth or the new generation does not become disobedient.

Acting Deputy Commissioner Azaharul Islam, Principal of MA Khalek Degree College KM Mahabub, former Headmaster of Bhatiapara High School Zahidur Rahman, and District Education Officer Salim attended the reception and scholarship ceremony held under the chairmanship of RAB-6 captain Lt. Col. Feroz Kabir at MA Khalek Degree College ground. Talukdar, Superintendent of Police (Operations) Kazi Mahabubul Alam, spoke.

After the discussion meeting, RAB Director General M Khurshid Hossain handed over scholarship money of 10,000 each to 109 students who obtained GPA 5 in SSC and HSC examination of Kashiani Upazila in 2023.
