A fire broke out in a six-storey building near Hatirpool kitchen market on Thursday (14 March).
The fire started on the second floor of the building around 6:13 am, said Anwarul Islam, warehouse inspector of Fire Service and Civil Defense.
On information, four firefighting units rushed to the spot and are trying to bring the blaze under control.
