Outgoing chief of the Air Force Air Chief Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan on Tuesday paid a farewell call to President Mohammed Shahabuddin.
President's Press Secretary Joynal Abedin briefed reporters after the meeting.
The press secretary said that the Air Force Chief thanked the President for his cooperation during the meeting.
He also informed the President about the overall activities of the Air Force, especially the development activities.
President Shahabuddin appreciated the outgoing air chief's role in the development of the Air Force.
The President hoped that the development of the Air Force will continue and the government will provide full cooperation in this regard.
Secretary to the President Office Md Wahidul Islam Khan and Military Secretary Major General Mohammad Adil Chowdhury were present during the meeting.
