The road from Hajj Camp to the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIS) railway station under the capital's Airport-Dakshinkhan road will be closed for four months to facilitate the construction of the airport's pedestrian underpass, authorities said today (2 July).
According to a notification issued by the underpass construction project authority, It is being informed that the connecting road from Hajj Camp to the airport railway station under the Airport-Dakshinkhan road will be closed from the date of publication of this notification for the next 120 days while the work of the project is in progress.
All types of vehicles and pedestrians are requested to use the "Kaola Road" as an alternative road during that time.
The authorities expressed their sincere regret for the temporary closure of the road.
