Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Saturday (27 July) said the attackers want to destroy all achievements of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Quader said the footage of vandals has been provided to the law enforcers. They went to attack the Padma Bridge several times and they want to destroy all achievements of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he said.
He said the Prime Minister feels sad seeing these destructions. The general students never carried out those violent activities, but BNP and Jamaat did, in the name of quota reformation movement, he added.
About metro rail, Quader said general people are now suffering a lot. It is still uncertain when the metro rail will resume operation, he added.
