Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ordered the release of all general students detained in the quota reform movement.
Regarding the ongoing quota reform movement, the Prime Minister stated, "The doors of Ganabhaban are open. I want to sit with the quota movement protesters and listen to their concerns. I do not want any conflict."
She made these remarks on Saturday (August 3) during a meeting with the central leaders of the Professional Coordination Council. Amid the ongoing situation, Sheikh Hasina met with the Professional Coordination Council at 11 a.m. today. The Prime Minister's Office has confirmed the details of this meeting.
Tomorrow, Sunday, at 4:30 p.m., the Prime Minister is scheduled to hold a meeting with cultural activists at Ganabhaban.
