In Sirajganj, 11 police officers were beaten to death by protesters. On Sunday (4 August), demonstrators stormed into Enayetpur police station and killed the officers.

The information has been confirmed by DIG Md. Anisur Rahman of the Rajshahi Range.

On behalf of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, a non-cooperation movement has been underway since Sunday (4 August) morning, following a one-point demand for the government's resignation.

Clashes are ongoing in various parts of the country surrounding the non-cooperation movement. Protesters are staging demonstrations and rallies at key locations, including the capital.

In response, the Awami League and its affiliated organizations have launched a counter-movement. So far, 42 people, including police officers, have been confirmed dead in various clashes.

Meanwhile, the government has announced an indefinite curfew starting from 6 PM on Sunday. However, the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has rejected the curfew.

Additionally, the government has declared public holidays on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
