Earlier, at 2:10 PM, the Emirates Airlines flight carrying Dr. Yunus landed at Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Upon arrival, he briefly spoke with reporters.

He stated, "The whole of Bangladesh is like a big family. We want to move forward together in this family. We want to remove any doubts and divisions among us. We aim to bring those who have strayed back on track so that we can work together."

It is reported that after taking the oath as the head of the interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus will stay at the state guest house, Jamuna. The guest house is being prepared for his stay, with new furniture being arranged. This work is being carried out by the Public Works Department (PWD).

However, security barriers have not yet been placed in front of the Jamuna guest house. Members of the army, Ansar, and other law enforcement agencies are currently overseeing security duties.

It is worth mentioning that after the 1/11 change in 2008, the chief advisor of the military-backed caretaker government, Fakhruddin Ahmed, stayed at Jamuna. Before that, Justice Habibur Rahman, the chief advisor of the caretaker government in 1996, and Latifur Rahman, the chief advisor in 2001, also stayed at the state guest house Jamuna during their respective tenures.
