Major General Abu Mohammad Sarwar Farid has been appointed as the new Director General (DG) of the National Security Intelligence (NSI) agency.
This announcement was made in a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday afternoon (August 13).
The ISPR stated that Major General Abu Mohammad Sarwar Farid of the Bangladesh Army has been appointed as the DG of NSI, Major General Mohammad Asadullah Minhajul Alam has been appointed as the Commandant of DSCSC, and Major General Khandaker Mohammad Shahidul Imran has been appointed as the Commandant of BMA.
