Chief Justice of the Supreme Court has formed 50 benches in the High Court Division to conduct judicial proceedings. These benches will begin their activities from Sunday, August 18th.
On Thursday, August 15th, the Supreme Court's website published the bench formation order directed by Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed.
According to the directive, starting from 10:30 AM on August 18th, 50 benches will be operational for judicial activities in the High Court Division. The directive also stated that all civil cases or proceedings filed, transferred, or pending before February 1st will be heard and resolved by these benches. Among the 50 benches formed today, 24 are dual benches and 26 are single benches.
