The interim government has withdrawn 25 District Commissioners (DCs) across the country.
On Tuesday, August 20th, the Ministry of Public Administration issued separate notifications withdrawing the DCs under the orders of the President.
In addition to the withdrawal, the same order also assigned them to new positions. According to the notification, this order will be effective immediately.
The list includes DCs from Dhaka, Sylhet, Rangpur, Cox’s Bazar, Chattogram, Gazipur, Mymensingh, Cumilla, Habiganj, Magura, Gaibandha, Naogaon, Natore, Noakhali, Moulvibazar, Faridpur, Sherpur, Kushtia, Jhenaidah, Pabna, Bogura, Joypurhat, Chandpur, Khulna, and Gopalganj.
