Bangladesh is going through a very tragic situation and facing the biggest flood in its recent past. Due to India's opening of dams and continuous heavy rains, several districts including Feni, Cumilla, Chattogram and others have been affected by sudden floods, leaving people in those areas disoriented. 13 deaths in four districts have been reported so far. More than 44 lakh people are trapped in water. As a result, the wailing of people in the flood-affected areas is constantly increasing.

This is even hard to imagine the situation going on in these districts. People are still under water and the water levels in the main rivers of the northeastern and eastern parts of the country are rising. The affected people are passing miserable time when everything is under water. The people of these area are living a very inhumane life.

To mitigate the ongoing flood situation it's important to ensure necessary relief ingredients along with strong rescue operations. And the emergency recovery steps including rescue operations and serving humanitarian aid are going on in these districts with combined efforts. The concerning bodies of the Govt and non govt organizations along with individual public assistance are helping to improve the situation.

Especially the role of Bangladesh Army along with other agencies are highly appreciatable and praiseworthy. According to a source of Bangladesh Army says, Bangladesh Army is working tirelessly to help the endangered people. They are working to evacuate people.

In addition to giving cooked food to the helpless people staying in the shelters, essential items including dry food, candles, dishwash, saline are being delivered to the remote areas. The Bangladesh Army will continue to provide rescue and relief operations as well as medical services until the flood situation returns to normal, the sources said.
Besides, ordinary people of the country irrespective of caste and religion are simultaneously helping the flood affected people. It's notable that a number of Hindu temple authoritys are donating money in the rescue and relief operations. As Sunnah Foundation is working hard and aiding the flood affected people as they used to do.

Many humanitarian organisations along with students and others are raising fund and collecting money and this picture is quite common everywhere in the country. A bunch of celebrities are also expanding their arms. A countrywide efforts is visible to aid the flood affected people. People are extending their helping hand in any way they can.

So the countrywide combined efforts creating an example of communal harmony in Bangladesh. Once again it's proven that when crisis situation come people forgetting their conflicts get united and come forward to help.  This is the beauty of Bangladesh where we live together with peace and harmony. However, we all should come forward to help the affected people with our best possible ways.
