Former MP Sadeq Khan arrested in Tejgaon

Sadeq Khan, a former Member of Parliament, has been arrested in connection with a murder case filed at Mohammadpur Police Station in the capital.

He was apprehended by the Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Saturday evening (August 24) from the Nakhalpara area of Tejgaon, Dhaka.

The information was confirmed by Mohammad Robiul Islam Bhuiyan, Joint Commissioner (North) of the Detective Branch of DMP.

Additionally, the news was verified by Md. Obaidur Rahman, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of the DMP's Media and Public Relations Department.

It is worth mentioning that Sadeq Khan is also one of the accused in the case involving the attack on former U.S. Ambassador Marcia Bernicat.
