To support the flood-affected people, the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has provided relief materials at TSC (Teacher-Student Centre) as part of the anti-discrimination student movement's mass relief collection campaign.
On Saturday, RAB delivered two thousand packets of relief supplies, including flattened rice, puffed rice, powdered milk, candles, energy biscuits, mats, lighters, molasses, sugar, dates, mosquito coils, and water purification tablets.
Since the onset of the flood situation, RAB has been distributing dry food, water purification tablets, oral saline, and necessary medicines to the flood victims.
On August 23, RAB provided relief and medical services to over five hundred flood-affected people in various areas of Feni district. They also rescued a pregnant woman and two newborns from the Parshuram border area of Feni using a helicopter.
In addition, RAB is rescuing vulnerable women, children, and elderly individuals trapped in flood-affected areas by helicopter and relocating them to safe places.
