The police headquarters have issued a warning to all officers, urging them to remain vigilant against scams involving fake job postings and demands for money.
This warning was issued in a press release on Saturday (August 31) afternoon.
According to the press release, a group of fraudsters has been exploiting police officers by threatening them with fake transfer notices to various units and demanding money in exchange for favorable postings. All officers are urged to stay alert and avoid falling victim to such scams.
The press release also noted that special police operations are ongoing to apprehend members of these fraudulent groups.
