The Chief of Army Staff, General Waqar-Uz-Zaman, paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Adviser of the interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus. The meeting took place on Sunday (September 22) at the office of the Chief Adviser.
The Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary, Shafiqul Alam, confirmed that General Waqar-Uz-Zaman had a courtesy meeting with Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus at his office today, Sunday.
The Chief Adviser is scheduled to depart for New York on September 24 to attend the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly. He is set to deliver a speech at the General Assembly on September 27.
