Seminar held on opportunities to study in Russia

The Russian House in Dhaka on Tuesday organized an educational seminar on the possibilities of getting higher education in Russia under the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation for applicants from Bangladesh to Russian universities.

Director of the Russian House in Dhaka P. Dvoychenkov told the participants about the procedure for selecting students for educational programs of higher and additional professional education within the quota established by the Government of the Russian Federation and about the process of submitting documents by candidates on the online platform https://education-in-russia.com .

Pavel Dvoychenkov spoke about the high level of Russian education, the achievements of graduates from Bangladesh who hold high leadership positions in the civil service and business after studying in Russia, as well as the professional prospects of incoming young people in Bangladesh.

More than 300,000 students from around the world come to study at Russian universities every year, and this number is constantly growing. This level of trust in the quality of Russian education makes the country one of the leaders in popularity among foreign students. In the system of higher education of the Russian Federation there are more than 750 universities and more than 650 specialties at various levels of education.

Russia is a recognized world leader in the training of mathematicians, physicists, chemists, geologists, engineers, programmers, doctors and specialists in other fields. This is confirmed by the positions of Russian universities in international rankings such as ARWU (Academic Ranking of World Universities), QS World University Rankings.

Teachers of Russian language courses at the Russian House in Dhaka and professors of Bangladeshi universities who received higher education in Russia spoke at the event.

During the seminar, Assistant Lecturer of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Moscow State Technological University STANKIN, Master of Human Resource Management M H M Musaddique spoke online about higher education in Russian universities and shared his practical experience of studying in Russia.

During the event, participants watched video presentations about Russian education and received answers to questions about registration on the online platform https://education-in-russia.com.

The process of applying for quotas for the next academic year began on October 7 this year and will continue until January 15, 2025.

The participants of the event also learned about the activities of the Russian House, the opportunities for studying Russian at the courses of the Russian House and participation in various youth programs.

As part of the event, the Russian feature film Primary Russia "The rise of the Russian spirit" Director: Sergey Prikhodko was shown.
