When various research studies around the world are conducted on Artificial Intelligence (AI), the youth of Bangladesh are still catching up on this journey. In particular, multiple AI tools are constantly being developed to make human tasks easier. Various tools for such tasks are being created in Bangladesh by the new generation of youth.
These AI tools or Software as a Service (SaaS) created by Bangladeshi youth are becoming popular in the country and spreading to different countries. As a result of the continuous expansion of information technology, talented young people from various parts of the country are creating technology-based services with the help of the Internet, introducing the country to the world in a new way.
One such talented young man is Shahidujzaman Shahid from Rangpur. When he started studying Computer Science and Technology (CSE) at Begum Rokeya University, this talented young man began thinking of creating something that could be used in the country and abroad.
The country's talented youth will work, and those interested will use these services beyond the borders. The idea for the AI-based software initiative AffPilot originated from this. Shahid began his studies despite financial hardships. In 2012, he started freelancing to pay for his education.
How it started
Shahidujzaman Shahid was interested in entrepreneurship from childhood. Gradually, his interest grew when he began freelancing. After starting in 2012, he became more organized within 5 years. Besides supporting his family, he started his own software company with earnings.
Initially, he worked alone but gradually others joined in on the venture. Computer engineers, graphic designers, marketers, content writers, video editors, and other skilled professionals started contributing.
Shahid mainly worked in online affiliate marketing, where he found success. Affiliate marketing requires a lot of writing; initially, he handled everything all by himself. However, as his workload increased, he hired content writers and supervised their work. He soon realized that finding quality writers was challenging, especially for affiliate marketing, where the writing must be of international quality. Since his office was in Rangpur, there were fewer opportunities to hire people locally, as well as quickly.
Despite these challenges, he continued by hiring freelancers online. Through perseverance, Shahid achieved success in affiliate marketing. "When I saw that foreign currency could be earned from this work, not only to support myself but also to contribute to the country's economy by bringing in foreign currency, I decided to institutionalize my work on a larger scale. From that idea, AffPilot was born," said Shahid.
AffPilot (www.affpilot.com) was developed to solve Shahid's problems in affiliate marketing. "I started AffPilot to address the issues I encountered while doing affiliate marketing," said Shahid. AffPilot software allows various affiliate marketing tasks to be completed with a single click.
One software feature is the ability to write 100 or even 1,000 blog articles on any topic with a single click. Not only does the software write articles, but it can also automatically publish them on the user's website, reducing the hassle for users. According to Shahid, many young people in the country and abroad have found success using this software.
"Many people are earning foreign currency through the software and becoming self-reliant," he mentioned. He also shared that a blogger created a website using AffPilot and sold it in an international marketplace for approximately 34 lakh taka.
Microsoft Support and New Features
As AffPilot progressed, its potential was recognized, and Microsoft provided technical support worth 150,000 USD. This support leveraged the software’s development. Shahid has been sharing his experiences for free for the past 5 years on YouTube. AffPilot's facebook group has about 50,000 active members.
Shahid recommended visiting their success stories page (https://affpilot.com/success-story) for those looking to start or seeking inspiration. "Many people want to pursue this work and succeed but lack proper guidance. They can read thousands of success stories people share using AffPilot," he said.
AffPilot Academy
Shahid also hosts free, hours-long live Q&A sessions online, where he shares his methods for earning online. These videos can be found on the AffPilot YouTube channel. Many people have benefited from these sessions, which inspired him to start 'AffPilot Academy' (https://affpilot.academy) for those seeking more detailed support. "I started this academy to teach people quickly and provide round-the-clock support, sharing the methods I use to earn and still practice," said Shahid.
Shahid has ambitious goals. He is developing software that is used both domestically in Bangladesh and abroad. He keeps adding new functionality to the software with AI. Young people like him are contributing to the construction of new Bangladesh.
