A delegation of Bangladesh Chamber of Industries (BCI), led by the organisation’s President Anwar-ul Alam Choudhury (Parvez) met the Industries Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan at his office in the ministry on Monday.
During the meeting in the conference room of the ministry the members of the delegation discussed with the advisor different problems currently the country’s industries have been facing.
The BCI president made the opening remarks and focused on the law and order situation in industrial areas and labor issues.
Other leaders of the BCI brought up the sector wise specific issues and problems to the advisor.
The advisor directed the authorities concerned to resolve some of the problems immediately and advised them to report the problems to the concerned departments.
In the last part of the meeting, the senior secretary of the ministry, Begum Zakia Sultana summarized the issues and said that today's issues such as labor issues, law and order, banking, NBR issues, and BIDA issues.

Debbrat Mukhopadhyay, Managing Director, Bata Su Company (Bangladesh ) Ltd., Matiur Rahman, Chairman, Uttara Motor Corporation Ltd., Abdul Haque, Ex-Director, FBCCI, Shadab Ahmed, Managing Director, Coca-Cola Bangladesh Limited, Moinul Islam Swapan, Vice Chairman, Mannu Group, Preeti Chakraborty, Sr. -President, BCI, Mohammad Yunus, Vice-President, BCI, Amitabh Chakraborty, Advisor, City Group were present and addressed the issues of their respective sectors.
