On the occasion of the 'Armed Forces Day' tomorrow, the Bangladesh Navy will keep its ships in Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal and Chandpur districts open for all people to visit.
A release of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said this today.
The vessels of the Naval Force will remain open at the selected river ports from 2 pm until the sun sets on the day (Thursday), it said.
The venues where the ships will be kept open are BNS Chitra at Sadarghat in Dhaka, BNS Somudra Avijan at Naval Berth, New Mooring in Chattogram, BNS Shaheed Akhter Uddin at BIWTA Launch Terminal in Khulna, BNS Kapatakhaya at Digraj Naval Berth in Mongla, BNS Borkat at BIWTA Ghat in Barishal and BNS Shaheed Daulat at BIWTA Ghat in Chandpur, the ISPR release added.
