A fire that broke out in the basement of a 7-storey building in the capital's Farmgate has been doused.
According to Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD), the fire broke out at around 9:30 am at a godown in the basement of the building, said Anwarul Islam, a warehouse inspector at the FSCD headquarters media cell.
Five firefighting units rushed to the scene and brought the blaze under control.
No casualties were reported.
