Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen has underscored the historic importance of 2024 in the context of Bangladesh-China relations, as the two nations prepare to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties.

Speaking at the “2024 Reunion for Bangladeshi Persons in China” event hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka, Ambassador Yao highlighted the elevation of bilateral relations to a Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership.
