Bangladesh Metrological Department (BMD) forecast light rain in three divisions including Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram commencing 9am on Thursday. “Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country,” it said.
Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during late night till early morning. Night and day temperatures may rise slightly over the country. The deep depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining area moved north-north westwards and now lies over the same area.
At 6 am on Thursday, it is likely to move north-northwesterly direction and intensify further.
