A fire broke out at Korail slum in Dhaka's Mohakhali area on Wednesday. The fire was noticed at the slum around 4:15 pm and it spread soon.
On information, seven firefighting units rushed to the spot and are trying to put the fire under control, said Anwarul Islam, a warehouse inspector at the Fire Service and Civil Defence(FSCD) headquarters media cell.
However, the origin of the fire and extent of damages could not be known immediately.
