Dense fog may disrupt flight, vessel operation,  road communication: BMD

Flight operations, inland river transport movement and road communication are likely to be disrupted due to thick fog. "Moderate to dense fog may occur over the country during midnight to morning and it may continue till noon at places," said a bulletin of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) in a forecast valid for 72 hours commencing 9am on Wednesday.

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country. Night temperature may fall slightly over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country.

Day temperature may fall by 2-3°C over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, it may rise by 1-2)°C over Rajshahi division and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country. Country's minimum temperature was recorded at 10.6 degrees Celsius in Dinajpur on Wednesday while maximum temperature was recorded 29.5 degrees Celsius in Teknaf on Tuesday.
