The Traffic Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed 1,702 cases against traffic law violators during drives conducted across the capital. Moreover, 65 vehicles were dumped, and 35 were towed during the operation.
The drives were carried out on Saturday by the eight traffic divisions of DMP, said Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner (DC media) of the DMP. Drives against traffic law violators will remain continued, he added.
