Ambassador Tracey Ann Jacobson, Chargé d'Affaires at the US Embassy in Dhaka, is hosting a series of meetings with political party leaders. In a note sent to the press, the US Embassy in Dhaka said, the meetings are being held to better understand their plans and positions as part of the Mission's continuing diplomatic engagement. The US Embassy did now however mention the exact time of the meetings.
Earlier on 14 November, a three-member BNP delegation, led by Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, held a meeting with Megan Bouldin, the US Embassy's chargé d'affaires in Dhaka.
