Indian media outlets are spending millions of dollars to present Chief Adviser (CA) Prof Muhammad Yunus as a militant leader, says CA's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam. He made the remark at the publication ceremony of "Droher Graffiti", a book on the mass uprising of 2024, at the National Press Club today (8 February).
Shafiqul also commented on historical inconsistencies regarding the list of freedom fighters after Bangladesh's independence.
"Due to a lack of information, from a two-year-old child to the opposition, everyone has been included in the list of freedom fighters in the period following the independence of Bangladesh," he said.
He further stated that measures would be taken to prevent the return of "Awami autocracy and their associates" to power in Bangladesh.
