Anisuzzaman Chowdhury has been appointed as a special assistant to the Chief Adviser. The cabinet division issued a gazette notification in this regard on Monday. According to gazette notification, Anisuzzaman will look after issues of the finance ministry. His status will be that of a state minister.
Anisuzzaman Chowdhury holds concurrent adjunct positions as professor in the School of Social Sciences and Psychology, University of Western Sydney and the School of Business, Australian Defence Force Academy, University of New South Wales. He held senior United Nations positions in New York and Bangkok between 2008 and 2016.
