Bahar Uddin Raihan, a brilliant student from the History Department of Chattogram University, has become an inspiration for many by overcoming physical obstacles with his strong will and indomitable courage.

Despite not having two hands, Bahar Uddin does not let anything stop him from pursuing his dreams. He rides a bicycle, and motorcycle, and even skates effortlessly, presenting these extraordinary achievements through his Facebook page and YouTube videos.

Bahar Uddin completed his graduation and post-graduation from the History Department of Chattogram University by writing with his mouth. He passed the post-graduate examination with a CGPA of 3.13 out of 4. Baharuddin's success story has gone viral on social media, with many people congratulating him and lauding his determination.

Bahar Uddin was born and brought up in Chakria's uncle's house in Cox's Bazar. His father left his mother while she was still pregnant. Baharuddin faced many financial and social adversities but was persistent in his dream to overcome them.

In October 2004, when Bahar Uddin was a fifth-grade student, a small bird entered the transformer mounted on the electricity pole next to his house. When he touched the electric wire while watching the bird, he suffered severe burns to his two hands, some parts of his chest, and the soles of his feet. Within five days at the Chattogram Medical College Hospital, one of his hands and the other hand were amputated up to the elbow.

However, Bahar Uddin did not deviate from his studies for a moment. He used his strong willpower, morale, and courage as his only companions. Even though he did not have his hands, he wrote with his mouth and signed his achievements in one public examination after another.

Bahar Uddin passed the HSC examination from Chakaria University College and got good results in the JSC and SSC exams. His dream was to get a good job after completing his studies. Despite everyone's expectations that he would not be able to study after losing both hands, he pushed aside those thoughts and won the life battle today.

Bahar Uddin established a food collection company in 2019, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company's progress came to a halt. Currently, he is working for a private organisation with a monthly salary of  Tk 12,000. Baharuddin finished his studies and is currently staying in a hostel in Muradpur of Chattogram city, with the goal of achieving success later in life.

Despite facing numerous obstacles, Bahar Uddin Raihan's perseverance and determination to succeed are an inspiration to many.
