A clash took place between the lawyers of Awami League and BNP on the Supreme Court premise on Thursday (3 August) while both the groups were staging protest.
During the protest, the BNP-bacled lawyers vandalised the office of the SC bar secretary.
Witnesses said Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum held a press briefing against the judgement of BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman and his wife Zubaida Rahman. After that, the BNP lawyers brought out a procession.
Meanwhile, AL-backed lawyers also brought out procession protesting BNP's anarchy. Around 2:45pm, both the group locked into scuffle and pushed each other in front of president-secretary room.
At one stage, BNP lawyers made a vandalism in Supreme Court bar secretary Nur Dulal's office and removed his nameplate. They also removed the nameplate from the president's room.
