This afternoon, at least 10 people were killed and many others injured during a collision between a container train and a passenger train Kishoreganj's Bhairab upazila.
Sirajul Islam, duty officer of Bhairab Railway Police Station, informed that a Chattogram-bound container train collided with the Dhaka-bound Egarosindhur Express around 3:30 pm on Monday (23 October).
Ten bodies were recovered from the wreckage, Abdul Alim Sikder, officer-in-charge of the police station, reported.
The death toll could increase says the witnesses.
