Possibilities of Tourism in Bangladesh

During the corona period, the recession that came down in all kinds of business and trade in the world. Little by little, that Jstress has started to disappear. However, the tourism sector of the country recovered in a healthy manner particularly for the visionary leadership of our honorable Pre Minster Sheikh Hasina along with streamlined directives and strategies practices by the Mustry of Cal Aviation and Tourism and all relevant bodies and authorities.

We have seen popular destinations such as Cox's Bazar and sylher pouring with guests. The businessmen of this sector along with the government of Bangladesh has been in continuous harmony to advance the tourism sector. Robin J. Edwards, General Manager of Pan Pacifie Sonargane Hotel in Dhaka, spoke to The Daily Messenger about the opportunities of the tourism sector in Bangladesh.

Ile has seen the overall aspects of tourism in Bangladesh very closely. In this regard, he said, even though the shock of Corona has passed, the tourism business of Bangladesh is still moving at a healthy pace. One of the reasons for this is that the number of Chinese businessmen and tourists have started to pour in as the country moves further in to the dream future with state of the art infrastructural development and foreign investment plans.

He said that mainly business tourists come to Bangladesh. Most of them are located in the capital Dhaka.

As a result, they rarely go to Sylhet, Bandarban, Rangamati. Cox's Bazar, Kuakata, Khulna and Barisal, which have various attractive tourist spots outside Dhaka. Bangladesh is now turning in the way other countries in Asia Pacific have turned around. Mentioning that Bangladesh DOW attracta tourists from the developed world, he said, the young travel vloggers from the Western world who travel to different countries are now coming to Bangladesh to showcase its heritage, culture and foud and popular destinations. Meanwhile, he mentioned that most five star quality hotels are in Dhaka.

Dhaka now accommodates some of the world class Hotel Chains and Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka being one of the most popular 5 Star Chain Hotel since 1981 has been catering guests with superb goodwill Just as Bangkok and Parraya have been well established in the Asia Pacific region, Bangladesh also has the same potential. There are many natural resources here. If they can be used properly, it is possible to take the tourism sector of Bangladesh a long way, he added. If you look at CNN or BRC, you can see that there are various kinds of documentaries abour Singapore, Bali and Bangkok. A documentary called Beautiful Bangladesh' has been made by the govemment. Various tourist places of the country have been highlighted there.
