Bangladesh has received $91 crore 59 lakh 10 thousand as remittance in the first 12 days of the January.
The value is about Tk 10.30 crore (if per US dollar is Tk109.50).
Bangladesh Bank disclosed this information in its news report that published on Sunday (January 14).
Officials of the concerned division of the central bank said if the trend of receiving remittance continues, the amount will surpass $2 billion at the end of month.
