Mercantile Bank PLC donated ten power tillers and fertilizers at the Faridganj area in Chandpur on Friday, according to a press release.
Md Abdul Hannan, the chief guest and the sponsor director of the bank handed over ten power tillers and fertilizers among 3000 farmers in the Faridganj area of Chadpur.
The program held at Sholla Ashek Ali School & College premises in Sholla Bazar, Faridganj was presided over by the bank’s Managing Director and CEO Md Quamrul Islam Chowdhury.
Farid Uddin Ahmed Bhuiyan, bank’s Cumilla-Noakhali regional head, Md Shafruzzanan Khan, head of agriculture credit division, Murad Hossain Chowdhury, head of bank's Faridganj Branch, President and Secretary of Chandpur and Faridganj Press Club along with MBPLC HOB’s of Chandpur area, Chairman of Union Parishad were also present, among others.
