Chairman and former senior secretary of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) Md Raisul Alam Mondal has said that RAKUB will break the profit record of 37 years by June.
“RAKUB is not short of money. Rather, RAKUB is far ahead of other banks in digitising activities. I am currently visiting the northern region and getting an unprecedented response in all the districts, and this trend will continue in the coming days as well,” Raisul said as the chief guest at an opinion exchange meeting at a hotel in Bogura on Tuesday.
The meeting on progress towards achieving targets was held with the branch managers of RAKUB’s Bogura north and south zones.
Raisul added that RAKUB was born with the aim of supporting agriculture, small and medium businessmen, and it has been fully implemented. RAKUB encourages everyone to work with all banks to develop professional relationships.
RAKUB Rangpur Divisional General Manager (DGM) Md. Babar Ali, RAKUB Bogura North zone DGM Md. Belal Hossain, Bogura South zone DGM Md. Shahinur Islam spoke as special guests under the chairmanship of RAKUB Rajshahi DGM Md. Atiqul Islam.
Among others, Rashedul Islam, Senior Vice-Chairman of Bogura Bankers Association and General Manager of Sonali Bank PLC Bogura Branch, and Joint General Secretary of Bogura Bankers Association Abdur Razzak SBAC Bank Branch Manager, spoke. RAKUB Sariakandi branch manager ATM Sharifur Rahman moderated the programme. Before this, the chief guest was welcomed with flowers and crest.
