A corporate agreement was recently signed between Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC and Astra Airways Limited (Air Astra).
The signing ceremony took place at Islami Bank Tower on Wednesday, according to a press release.
Under this agreement, all debit and credit cardholders and employees of Islami Bank will get a special discount on the purchase of air tickets.
Md Maksudur Rahman, senior executive vice president of the bank, and Sohail Majid, chief commercial officer of Astra Airways Limited, signed the agreement on behalf of respective organisations.
Mohammed Monirul Moula, managing director of the bank, and Imran Asif, chief executive officer of Astra Airways Limited, were present during the signing.
Muhammad Qaisar Ali, additional managing director, Miftah Uddin, deputy managing director, Md Omar Hayat Chowdhury, vice president and A M Shahidul Amran, senior assistant vice president of the bank, Mozammel Haque Bhuiyan, head of sales and Sakib Hasan Shovo, deputy manager (public relations) of Astra Airways Limited, along with executives and officials of both institutions, were present on the occasion.
