Universal Medical College Hospital, Dhaka, Bangladesh and KL Fertility and Gynecology Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia jointly organized a scientific workshop on recent advances in infertility treatment and practice at Universal Medical Auditorium on 3rd June 2024.
Dr. Jasdev Singh Harbhajan and Dr. Natasha Ain binti Mohd Nor, Infertility Specialist from Malaysia presented keynotes in this workshop. The seminar was chaired by Brig. Gen(Retd). Prof. Dr. Anjuman Ara Begum, Head of Gynecology and Obstetrics Department of Universal Medical College. Managing Director of the hospital, Dr Ashis Kumar Chakraborty, gave a welcome address to the workshop and greeted the doctors from abroad and talked about the significant contribution of the health sector of the country.
Renowned Infertility and High Risk Pregnancy Specialist Dr. Zakiur Rahman and Hysteroscopic Surgeon of Universal Medical College Hospital Dr. Hasina Begum were present as guests of honor in the workshop. Besides, Deputy Director of the Hospital Dr. Kazi Rafiqul Alam gave introduction to the hospital and Vote of Thanks was given by Director (Medical Services) Brig Gen (Retd) Prof Dr AK Mahbubul Haque.
Professor Brigadier General (retd) Dr. Hasina Sultana, Professor Dr. Hosne Ara Chowdhury, Professor Dr. Munira Ferdowsi, Professor Dr. Parul Jahan, Dr. Varnali Das and more than half a hundred renowned gynecologists and obstetricians and infertility specialists of the country were present in the seminar.
