Import-export activities through Sonamasjid Land Port would remain closed for eight days on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Azha. However, the Immigration Department would remain open and the travelers carrying passports would be able to travel as usual.
President of Sonamasjid Importer-Exporter Group Kazi Md. Shahabuddin confirmed, saying the import and export activities through the port would remain closed from June 15 to June 20 and it would resume on June 22.
Two Fridays - June 14 and June 21 would be included into the closure.
