In the midst of widespread disruptions to financial services due to the emergency situation in the country, Nagad has managed to maintain uninterrupted service for its customers. With most financial services halted and internet outages affecting app functionality, Nagad has remained a reliable option. By dialing *167#, users have been able to perform essential transactions such as bill payments, mobile recharges, cash-outs, and cash-ins.

As soon as internet connectivity was restored, app-based transactions resumed, allowing customers to complete their transactions with ease. The disruption in internet service had led to significant challenges for the general public, including interruptions in conventional banking services and the closure of mobile recharge methods. In this scenario, Nagad emerged as a crucial alternative for mobile recharges, bill payments, and money withdrawals.

An unprecedented scene unfolded in Mohalla as people queued up in long lines at cash entry points for cash transactions, bill payments, and mobile recharges. Despite the challenging circumstances, Nagad successfully maintained its essential services through special measures.

The Nagad technology team worked tirelessly around the clock to ensure that crucial services, including bill payments, mobile recharges, and money transfers via USSD, remained operational without interruption. Even during the curfew, the team prioritized security and service continuity.

Over the four days from Saturday to Tuesday, Nagad served millions of customers across four crore accounts through its extensive network of three lakh entrepreneur points. Tanveer A. Mishuk, founder and CEO of Nagad, emphasized the commitment to meeting customers' urgent needs during these times. He stated, "In such challenging situations, Nagad prioritized customer needs and ensured that services remained uninterrupted. Our staff worked tirelessly to provide essential services, keeping people connected and their daily lives functioning smoothly."
