FBCCI President Mr. Mahbubul Alam paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed Home Adviser to the interim government of Bangladesh Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury. The courtesy call was held on Saturday (August 17) at the adviser's residence in Baridhara of the capital.
During the call, FBCCI President discussed various economic activities including the country's trade and business, keeping supply chain stable, ensuring safety in industrial hubs, stopping extortion on Roads & highways etc. with the adviser and sought cooperation.
The Hon’ble Adviser Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury assured to provide safety of all the citizens as well as the business community of the country as his assigned responsibility.
An official meeting of the business representatives with the Hon’ble Adviser will be held soon, the FBCCI President informed.
