We welcome this decision made by Bangladesh Bank. We believe that this will put an end to the recent smear campaign against Nagad. Over the last few days, we have been in discussions with Bangladesh Bank regarding these issues.
Finally, they have come up with a positive move by appointing an administrator, which we see will be a significant advancement in the journey towards a cashless society.
Previously, the government had also appointed administrators to several major institutions within the financial sector, including some banks, and leading mobile operators in the country.
