The leading household retail brand in Southeast Asia, MR D.I.Y., launched its third store at Mirpur Zoo Road in the capital Friday in a grand opening ceremony.
The newly launched store spans over a massive 6,644 sq ft and aims to offer Mirpur residents greater convenience for their home improvement needs. The new store features a wide variety of products across ten categories, including hardware, household, electrical, furnishing, car accessories, stationery, toys, and more —all at ‘Always Low Prices.’
Speaking at the launch, MR D.I.Y. Bangladesh’s Head of Operations, Syed Noor Anwar, said, “We are thrilled to open our third store in Mirpur. We are inspired by the positive feedback from our customers for our first two stores that opened earlier this year. This new store represents a step forward in our commitment to expanding our reach, ensuring that our customers have access to quality and affordable essentials while helping them save without burning holes in their pockets.

In conjunction with the store’s grand opening, running from today, October 25 to October 27, 2024, MR D.I.Y. has planned exciting activities and giveaways to celebrate the occasion. Special freebies can be redeemed by customers when they spend a minimum of BDT 1,000. Additionally, shoppers can participate in the Snap & Win Contest. All they have to do is snap a photo with the MR D.I.Y. photo frame, post it in the comments of MR D.I.Y. Bangladesh’s pinned Facebook post, and use the hashtag #MRDIYBangladesh. Five creative participants will win mystery gifts, which can be collected at the store after the winners are announced.
MR D.I.Y. opened its first store in Bangladesh in April 2024 at Polwel Carnation Shopping Centre, Uttara, followed by a second store at Jamuna Future Park. Mirpur is the retailer’s third store in the country.
