bKash, the country's largest mobile financial services (MFS) provider, has won in two categories at the "Visa Payment Excellence Awards-2024" for its significant contribution to the digital payment ecosystem.
By enabling highest volume of transactions through bKash wallet, the company has won in the "Wallet Partnership" category for three times in a row.
Additionally, bKash has won in the "Product Innovation" category for launching direct Visa payment facility from the bKash app, said a press release.
Nishat Rahman, chief customer service officer of bKash, received the award from Rafeza Akhter, Director of Bangladesh Bank (Payment System Department),at an event held in a city hotel recently.
Ashik Chowdhury, executive chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), James Gardiner, foreign service officer-US Department of State, US Embassy in Dhaka, Sandeep Ghosh, group country manager of Visa.
India and South Asia, Sabbir Ahmed, visa country manager for Bangladesh,Nepal and Bhutan and Adnan Kabir Rocky, head of Banking Partnership and Operations of bKash along with other senior officials of the organization were also present.
bKash has constantly been investing in technological innovation to improve services and deliver them to the doorsteps of customers all across the country, the release added.
With secure and time-saving digital financial services, bKash has brought freedom and efficiency to customers' daily transactions.
