Tally recognises 25 individuals in MSME Honours 2024

Tally Solutions, a leading technology company providing business management software provider, concluded the fourth edition of Tally MSME Honours 2024 by announcing 25 winners in 5 categories. The winners were felicitated at a grand event in the city for their remarkable contributions to the MSME ecosystem. The event celebrated remarkable businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals who have demonstrated unwavering commitment, innovation, and resilience in their fields.

The event honored winners across five distinct categories: WonderWoman, Business Maestro, NewGen Icon, Tech Transformer, and Champion of Cause. Each category highlighted the unique and transformative contributions of MSMEs to their communities and the business landscape. This year MSME Honours received over 600 nominations from various cities across Bangladesh. Several distinguished guests were present to support and felicitate the awardees of MSME Honours in Bangladesh, including Ms Parveen Mahmud FCA, Past President, ICAB;  Shah Rayeed Chowdhury, Director, Evince Group; Md. Nazrul Islam FCA, Group Managing Director, Runner Group; Mr. Ananda Chandra Naha, Executive Director, Gazi Tanks; Imtiaz Nawsher, DGM, Head of Marketing, BYD; and Mr. Shanat Dutta, CFO Runner Automobiles PLC.

Salahuddin Sanjee, Country Manager, Tally Solutions Bangladesh, expressed his pride in this year’s honourees, "The MSME Honours spotlight the diversity and positive influence of MSMEs by highlighting their best practices at the grassroots level. This platform is an effort to honour their commitment, innovative thinking, and dedication to excellence which have truly made a significant impact among budding entrepreneurs and for the Bangladesh economy.  MSME Honours is our endeavour to showcase success stories to inspire countless others to pursue their dreams with passion and determination. This is in line with the goals of the Bangladesh government to encourage the culture of leadership and enhancing the role of the small and medium-sized enterprises in the development and diversification of the national economy.”

This year in the WonderWoman category the jury witnessed entries from some remarkable women entrepreneurs and the outstanding winners this year include Afroza Sultana from Zaarins Creation, Kaniz Fatema from Prime Enterprise, Sabina Yesmin from Aimer Merchant, Atika Rahman from Te Ranga, and Nazneen Kamal Shupty from The Garage Food Court.

Furthermore, MSME Honours also recognized organizations under the category of Business Maestro who have accomplished noteworthy achievements as a visionary leader. This year's winners include Abul Kalam Hasan from Halima Group, Md. Ibrahim Hossain from Sagor Traders, Md. Abdul Khaleque from AK Traders Ltd., Omar Farooque from Alin Food Products Ltd., and Monzur Sajjad from Artisan Tiles and Concrete Products Ltd.

Another set of winners were recognized under the Tech Transformers category for their notable progress in the digital sphere. The list of this year’s winners includes Mohd. Abdul Mannan from Italy Footwear, Paritosh Kumar Malo from RK Metal, Babul Chandra Barmon from Dynamic Prolysis, Planten Agro Limited, and Dr. Khaleda Adib from TWC.       

In addition, MSME Honours also paid tribute to Champion of Cause for businesses that have contributed towards a better purpose for global wellbeing and the winners of this category include Wahida Khanam from Foundation for Women and Child Assistance, Dr Md Shahiduzzaman from ESDO, Jhumona Mullick from Neuroshade, Samiran Dutta from Mon Bagan, and Taslima Ferdowsi Mili from Belaseshe.

The final category of MSME Honours include NewGen Icon. The category celebrates budding entrepreneurs who have introduced innovative solutions. Winners under this category include Redwan Ferdous from JRC IOT Board, Md Abdur Rashid Sohag from Pupil School Bus, Farhan Tanvir from Big Shot, Nurul Hasan from Cake Stories, and Afeef Zaman from ShopUp.

Tally MSME Honours continue to celebrate and promote the invaluable contributions of MSMEs, encouraging innovation, resilience, and excellence across various sectors and regions.  The honours serve as a testament to the spirit of entrepreneurship, innovation, and excellence.
